Why We Built Aventur

Aventur started with a feeling we couldn’t ignore; that financial wellbeing shouldn’t be a luxury.

We kept meeting people who were doing sensible things with their money - earning, saving and planning for the future, but still felt unsure whether everything was working together as it should. They weren’t careless. Weren’t disengaged. Just unclear.

They weren’t looking for complex strategies or constant meetings. They just wanted to know: Am I on track? What should I focus on? What does “doing well” actually look like for me?

Too often, these answers felt out of reach. Advice was expensive or intimidating, and information was everywhere but rarely joined up or easy to trust. And the system seemed built around products, not people.

That didn’t sit right with us.

Our guidance is there to support you, not pressure you, and everything is explained in plain language, so you always understand why something matters.
 

Built with experience

Aventur was created by Stacey Body and Thomas Young, who together have spent over 40 years working in financial services.

They’ve seen first-hand how traditional advice can be expensive, complex and difficult to access - even for people who are doing the “right” things. That experience shaped how Aventur is built: transparent, supportive and designed around real people.

Because money decisions matter, Aventur has been built and tested within a regulated environment, working closely with the Financial Conduct Authority. We’re also proud to be a certified B Corp, meaning we’re committed to making a positive impact.
